3D bioprinted tissue can solve the global organ donor crisis

I was just reading an article about the latest advances in 3D bioprinting.

We can already print things like skin grafts and cartilage, and it seems like the technology is getting more and more advanced.
It got me thinking, could this eventually be the answer to the massive organ donor shortage?

I mean, I know it's a huge leap from printing a simple tissue to a complex, vascularized organ like a heart or a kidney, but is it a realistic solution in our lifetime?
Or is it still pure science fiction? What do you all think?

I mean, that's the goal. There were times when something like this was science fiction, now it's a possibility and in the future it will be a common practice. The tech evolves, so it's something we'll eventually see.
